Its Ok!!!

Happy Thursday.  It is a beautiful day here in the great state of Texas!!  I love when the weather starts getting cooler.  It is time for Its Ok Thursdays!!  I am linking up with Amber and Neely.

That I keep pinning wedding things when I am not engaged yet.
That I want to have an awesome wedding
That I want my first marriage to to be my only one.

That I am beyond excited to seeing Third Day tonight!!
That I REALLY want to go to the Nutcracker Market this weekend in Houston.
That I have never been there before so I am super excited.

That instead of going camping with scouts, we are having a camp out in our backyard.
That we are gonna have a bonfire and make smores.
That I plan on sleeping in the camper and not the tent.

That I am happy the elections are over!!
That I am tired of seeing my grown friends act like children.
That I think arguing about politics is totally useless.

That I am excited for my cousin's wedding on Sunday.
That I am glad that it will be over way before the Texans play on Sunday night!
That I am slightly nervous about the Texans playing the Bears but I have faith in my team!!

Happy Monday?!  Ha ha Monday's have never really bothered me.  I mean it is not like I get to sleep in on the weekends, because Ashton still wakes up at the butt crack of dawn!  Well I had a pretty fun weekend.  I went into Houston to The Galleria to do some Christmas shopping.  I got this Magical Growing Christmas Tree from Urban Outfitters and I am going to use it Thanksgiving night for when "Slugger" comes back!  Slugger is Ashton and Xander's Elf on the Shelf and I can't wait for him to come back!  Ha ha my plan is to have the boys set the tree up before going to bed, it takes 5 hours to grow, then when they wake up the tree with have "grown" and Slugger will be there waiting for them.  I know that they are going to be so excited!!

I went into Tiffany's while at the mall....just to look.  OMG I KNOW that their rings are pricey, but wow they had a keyring that was $185.00.  Wow!  Who looks at a keyring and says "Oh it's only $185.00 I will get 3 of them"!  LOL Needless to say I didn't get it...or anything from Tiffany for that matter.  If you wanna see what a $185.00 keyring looks like then click here...

The boyfriend and I shopped all day and I hardly got anything, but we had an amazing day.  I love him so much and I am so lucky to have him in my life.  And since he is so wonderful and shopped ALL day with me, I didn't complain when we had dinner at Twin Peaks.  Ha ha I actually like the food they have.  I got the chicken fried steak and I could not even eat a 4th of it!  It covered my entire plate!!  It was really good though.

Oh and BTW if you didn't know...My Texans are 7-1!!!  They are having an amazing season!!   

Saturday in the "Big City"

This country girl is in Houston for the day. I am spending the day with my amazing boyfriend at The Galleria. I only come out here about once a year so I am going to enjoy it! I am going into Tiffany & Co to dream now! Have a great Saturday everyone!

Dear East Coast,
I can't believe all the damage that Hurricane Sandy did to you.  I am so sorry and I am still praying for you!! 

Dear Christmas,
Hey I haven't done any shopping at all so could you do me a huge favor and not come so quickly.  I still have a 10 year old to buy for....and he wants several things.  Thanks!!

Dear Santa,
It would be awesome if YOU could provide for my 10 year old this year!  I am just saying I am tired of picking up your slack! 

Its Ok.....

Happy Thursday everyone!  I hope that you had a very fun and safe Halloween!  I spent my night in class so I was not able to take my son out trick or treating...but never fear my dad took him and they had a blast!  He was so cute, he dress up as a nerd.  Today I am linking up with Amber and Neely for Its Ok Thursdays!!

To be excited that the Texans are playing the Bills this weekend.
To be excited to hear the "boos" when Mario Williams steps on the field.
To still think he is a traitor for going to the Bills.
To be happy he is gone because our defense is GREAT without him!!
